Up for purchase is a ANTENNA that you can add to your GILLIGAN'S ISLAND PACKARD BELL VINTAGE RADIO AR-851 AM Radio.
I did a custom installation on an actual AR-851 for a customer last year and it turned out very nicely. The pictures shown are of that radio. This auction is for the Antenna AND a mounting bracket along with the correct machine screw and nothing else in the pictures.
This antenna is nice from the standpoint that it mounts nicely internally within the radio chassis and also goes through a hole that you drill in the upper case. This setup yields a very strong structure unlike the antennas that folks stick to the top of the case.
This setup is desirable if you want to be able to carry the radio around and not worry about the antenna falling off.
