If you change your monofilament line out we recommend SURPASS brand PE line as the size equivalent is rated at 50 LBS and it’s much less expensive than the name brand braided lines. There are plenty of brands that are $5 a roll available on Pricetronic.

Note:
A piece of sticky foam is included to prevent the reel from slipping on the reel seat barrel. Attach it to 4” pvc section below valve.
See photo that shows how to tie weight to monofilament. 2-3 times through the weight followed with a good "fisherman's knot". This knot will not come undone or break if tied correctly. If you don't use a fisherman's knot...YOU WILL LOSE WEIGHTS!
Instructions:
#1 Close valve and fill to 30-40 psi. (50 psi is absolute maximum pressure.) DO NOT EXCEED 50 psi for any reason ever! Casings are rated at 280 PSI but 40 PSI is more than enough pressure and still be completely safe! Customers have asked why do we supply a 60 PSI gauge if you can’t fill it up to 60 PSI? The reason we include a 60 PSI Valve is so you can fill to the exact PSI needed and not higher! We could use a 30-40 PSI Valve and most likely you’ll probably will over fill the air chamber not knowing how much air is inside. 40 PSI IS MORE THAN ENOUGH TO CLEAR THE TALLEST TREES ON YOUR PROPERTY! PLEASE DON’T EXCEED THE MAXIMUM PSI FOR ANY REASON! IT’S NOT NEEDED TO PUT UP YOUR WIRE!
#2 Securely attach weight to line (see note and photo for correct Fisherman's knot) and load in barrel until seated at valve stop.
#3 Push reel button to release monofilament line, aim launcher and release valve.
#4 Wait until weight falls to ground.
#5 Carefully lay launcher on ground.
#6 Disconnect weight and attach your antenna pull line securely to reel monofilament line. A little tape over knot prevents any snags or knot from coming apart if not tied well.
#7 Pick up launcher and reel line back over tree.
#8 Disconnect antenna rope, re-attach weight to monofilament line for storage. (Do Not store launcher filled with air.)
#9 Attach your wire to line and pull antenna over tree.
Note: Teflon tape is added at factory for any screw together joints like barrel assembly. Be sure to use Teflon tape on the threads and breakdown will be easy. Never use a wrench or pliers on the barrel or gauge....it's not needed. Hand tight is perfect! ALSO: DO NOT set launcher up on it's end! We use a rounded cap purposely to discourage standing the launcher up on end. If the launcher falls over you may damage the reel or possibly break the threaded barrel fitting. Carefully lay the launcher down flat when not in use while in the field.
Teflon spray can be used on valves as a lubricator.
* We are not responsible for misuse of this product whatsoever! Please follow the included instructions and don’t push the limits of the launcher for any reason!
We have spare parts available if needed, but with a little care it should last a long long time. Be sure to wash your hands with soap and water after handling lead weights.
Keep weights stored away from children.
Weights can be painted a bright color or attach a 12” piece of bright thin ribbon to help locating your weight.
Pre plan your job with height, direction, pulleys if wanted, etc. and you'll be DXing in no time. If you have tree's close together you can clear multiple tree's in one shot. Put up 2 dipoles and end up with North/South & East/West!
If you have ever tried putting up dipoles using ladders, sling shots, bow's and arrows or settled for a low antenna....this will be the best radio tool you own after the first time you use it!
Safety warning: DO NOT EXCEED 40 psi FOR ANY REASON! Do not store launcher filled with air. Be ready to launch when you pressurize the tank.

Braided line will last 10-20 times as long as monofilament line! 15 #monofilament Braided line equivalent is 50# strength, won’t hold memory and is abrasion resistant in tree branches!
